Two teenage boys and a friend head to the Pacific Northwest to do a little fishing and end up mining for gold, which, of course, they find and which they hurry into town to register, but naturally there are "some sinister characters in the Pacific slope mining town who mean no good," whereupon excitement ensues. Moderate wear to corners/spine ends, a bit of slant, dusty edges, moderate general wear, in dust jacket w/edgewear, chipping, edge tears, moderately sunned spine, general wear.
